With the holiday season over, now is the time to look for a way to get rid of the extra weight that has gathered around your waistline, rear and thighs! What you need are some fast weightloss tips that will get you started to a new you this new year!
The first thing you will want to look at is your water intake. Why all the hype about water? First, water helps to curb your hunger. It is a fact that many people who think that they are hungry are really dehydrated.
Second, water will help to move toxins through and then out of your system. This is extremely important because fat encapsulates toxins in order to keep them from entering your blood stream. The more toxins, the more fat is needed to protect you from harm. How much water? A good rule of thumb is eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day, with an additional eight ounces for each additional 25 pounds you need to lose.
The next important step is your sleep. A lack of sleep results in a lack of energy, inhibiting your ability to get up and move. A lack of sleep also decreases your ability to respond to stress, which then moves you into stress eating. Another reason sleep is important is because it helps maintain a healthy level of growth hormones. Growth hormones are proteins that help the body regulate portions of fat and muscle. The more growth hormones we have, the greater ability we have to lose fat and grow muscle. Try going to bed and getting up at a set time for a three week period. Then begin to add or subtract time based on your needs.
Third, get moving! No one will drop weight while surfing the net or watching T.V. That is unless they are moving while doing so. Your body was designed to move, so try for a fifteen minute walk once a day for a week; then gradually move it up by 10 minute intervals each week. Pretty soon you will be running in marathons and competing in body building competitions! But you have to start.
I hope you have enjoyed these fast weightloss tips and will begin to implement them right away. Don’t just strive for fast weight loss – strive to become the healthiest you possible!
